Brisbane Festival has launched their expansive 2025 program bringing together 2,260 artists across 106 productions and 1,069 performances. Brisbane Festival will return to the precinct from 5 – 27 September.

The Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland is delivering a new theatre at QPAC. As construction nears completion, Queensland Government is seeking suggestions to help name the new venue.
Submissions close Saturday 10 May at 5pm, with the chosen name announced by July 2025.

South Bank’s iconic Brisbane Sign has received its first major makeover – over a decade after it was originally installed for the 2014 G20 Summit. The new artworks on each letter feature some of the must-do activities in the precinct and City.
Business South Bank members recently met with Minister for Customer Services and Open Data and Minister for Small and Family Business, The Honourable Steve Minnikin to discuss Small and Family Business issues.
Members are encouraged to share their examples of red tape (Queensland state or local government law, policy, process, or practice) that is too complex, takes too long, costs too much, adds little value, or that is duplicative or wasteful along with the solution you think could resolve it.
