Brisbane Metro’s M2 route has commenced travelling from UQ to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. This route operates every 5 minutes at peak times. M2 route includes Mater Hill, South Bank Busway and Cultural Centre stations.
From mid-2025, Brisbane’s New Bus Network will launch with the introduction of Brisbane Metro M1 line (Eight Mile Plains to Roma Street).

As the peak advocacy body dedicated to the advancement of the wider South Bank precinct and its members, Business South Bank (BSB) submission’s to the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) 100-Day Review reflects the principles of Vision South Bank.
The submission highlights the unique role the wider South Bank precinct can play in the success of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Promoting connections throughout the City, BSB is pleased to see that the City’s newest pedestrian bridge is officially open. The Kangaroo Point Bridge links Kangaroo Point to the CBD, making it easier to walk or ride between the precinct and CBD.

The Landing at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is now complete providing a new riverside green space in the CBD and featuring a dedicated section of bikeway.
To commemorate the next 25 years of growth and success, Business South Bank (BSB) launched a new collaborative initiative The Sustainability Pledge, the first of its kind for a precinct in Queensland.
The Sustainability Pledge is a collective call of action by BSB members to ‘pledge’ to consider the environment, to be inclusive, and to create a healthy precinct.
