Brisbane Festival has launched their expansive 2025 program bringing together 2,260 artists across 106 productions and 1,069 performances. Brisbane Festival will return to the precinct from 5 – 27 September.

BSB member, The Brisbane Truck Show has cemented its status as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and the biggest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere.
The 2025 show held at BCEC and across the precinct attracted a record-breaking 54,790 attendees.

World Science Festival will take over the cultural precinct from 21-30 March 2025 including events across Queensland Museum, QPAC, GOMA, State Library of Queensland and South Bank Parklands.

Christmas celebrations in South Bank will run from 13 – 22 December. There will be various events and activities taking place in the precinct.
The South Bank Christmas Maze at The Piazza will be open from 10am to 10pm.
Christmas Cinema returns with free screenings of holiday classics starting at 7pm in the open-air cinema.
Nightly Christmas Carols at Riverside Green. The Christmas carols will begin at 5pm, entry is free, no bookings required.
Explore the South Bank Christmas Markets along Little Stanley Street, open from 10am until 9pm.

Brisbane Festival returns to the precinct next week from 30 Aug – 21 September.
On Saturday 31 August, there will be multiple road and bridge closures in place across the precinct for Riverfire.
