From Monday 18 September, the free bus loop service (Route 86) will start earlier in the day. The service will start at 7am Monday to Friday, and 8am on weekends.
The bus loop trial will also be extended for an additional 6 months to mid-2024.

South Bank Parklands is currently home to FIFA Fan Festival, with screenings of the FIFA Women’s World Cup including live music and entertainment at Riverside Green.

The third and final section of the iconic Sky Deck at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is now complete.
Construction will continue at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane with the development set to open April 2024.

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner announced this week that shade cover will be added to the Victoria Bridge pathway, an important connector between the City and South Bank.
Also announced was the decluttering of the Queen Street Mall which will ensure travelling between the City and South Bank will be vibrant, seamless and accessible.
