Brisbane Festival Announce New Artistic Director

Brisbane Festival has announced Ebony Bott as the new Artistic Director to deliver the 2026 festival. 

BSB would like to recognise outgoing Artistic Director Louise Bezzina, presenting her final festival in 2025 after six years at the helm. 

Brisbane Festival will return to the precinct from 5-27 September.

Glasshouse Theatre is the chosen name for Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) newest venue, which will welcome audiences in 2026. 

Glasshouse Theatre will be the fifth venue at QPAC, making it Australia’s largest performing arts centre under one roof.

Over the past three decades, BCEC has played a pivotal role in shaping Queensland’s business events landscape, hosting over 26,000 events and welcoming 21.6 million attendees.

BSB member, The Brisbane Truck Show has cemented its status as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and the biggest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere.

The 2025 show held at BCEC and across the precinct attracted a record-breaking 54,790 attendees.
