Brisbane Metro works in South Brisbane are continuing throughout February 2025 including:

• finishing works on the new Cultural Centre station permanent platforms 1, 2 & 3
• commissioning the new lifts at the Cultural Centre station, and demolishing old lifts
• works to upgrade the Grey Street and Melbourne Street intersection
• road resurfacing works on Melbourne Street, Grey Street and Hope Street
• upgrades to pedestrian gates to the South East busway on Melbourne Street.
