New Performing Arts Venue

The Glasshouse Theatre will open in 2026, joining the Playhouse, Lyric Theatre, Concert Hall and Cremorne Theatre to make QPAC the largest performing arts centre in Australia under one roof.

Cross River Rail

Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 km rail line with 5.9 km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD and four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.

Status: Major construction continues

Operational: Customer services are expected to commence by 2029.
