World Science Festival Brisbane is back for another extraordinary year of science right across Queensland. From 21 to 25 March 2018, world-leading scientists, communicators and performers from across the globe will delve into what makes us human, how humanity has advanced, and try to answer the immortal question of how we can all live better for longer.
The 2018 Festival features five days of spectacular science, designed to feed curious minds and challenge our views of what it means to be human. Crowd favourites include Street Science! the return of the turtle hatchlings, vibrant conversations and iconic films.
The program features world-renowned physicist Professor Brian Greene, former Australians of the Year Professor Fiona Wood and Professor Alan Mackay-Sim and one of Australia’s most recognised science communicators Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.
Ground-breaking discoveries will be examined, experiments will be demonstrated and knowledge will be shared. In 2018, Follow your curiosity and be part of something spectacular.
